Job Title
WordPress + Elementor Technical SEO and Performance Fixes (WooRank Audit Driven)
Description
I need an experienced WordPress and Elementor specialist to implement specific technical SEO, performance, and compliance fixes based on a recent WooRank audit.
This is not a redesign.
This is an execution task against an existing audit report.
The website URL and audit PDF will be shared privately with shortlisted candidates.
Tasks (Must Match Audit Findings)
1. Domain, SSL, and Redirect Issues
Resolve duplicate domain versions (http / https / www / non-www)
Implement correct 301 redirects to a single canonical domain
Fix SSL certificate coverage so all domain variants resolve correctly
Ensure canonical tags align with the preferred domain
2. Title and Meta Descriptions
Create a proper homepage title tag (20–70 characters)
Add a homepage meta description (70–160 characters)
Ensure internal pages have unique titles and meta descriptions
3. Heading Structure
Reduce to one H1 per page
Remove letter-spaced or animated heading text that affects SEO and readability
Ensure correct H1 → H2 → H3 hierarchy
4. Social Metadata
Add Open Graph tags
Add Twitter Card metadata
Set a default social sharing image
5. Analytics and Tracking
Install Google Analytics
Connect Google Search Console
Use a lightweight implementation (e.g. Site Kit)
6. Performance Optimisation (LiteSpeed)
Enable safe CSS, JS, and HTML minification
Optimise images:
Set explicit image dimensions
Defer offscreen images
Use next-gen formats where supported
Improve Largest Contentful Paint
Do not add preloaders or visual loading screens
7. Accessibility Fixes
Fix colour contrast issues below WCAG minimums
Clean up heading order
Resolve duplicate IDs or navigation accessibility warnings
8. Security and Trust Signals
Remove plain-text email exposure (use form or obfuscation)
Update DMARC policy from p=none to p=quarantine (or advise if DNS access is required)
Enable HSTS headers if supported
Ensure SSL renewal visibility
Constraints (Non-Negotiable)
Do not:
Redesign pages
Change layout or section order
Change fonts or colour schemes
Add heavy SEO or optimisation plugins
Add preloaders or animations
Rebuild Elementor templates
Allowed:
RankMath or Yoast (one only)
Google Site Kit
LiteSpeed Cache configuration
Minor CSS fixes where required
Deliverables
Significant improvement in WooRank score (target 80–90+ where technically possible)
No visual regressions or layout breakage
Short written summary of changes made
Timeline
6–8 hours total
Can be completed overnight
To Apply
Please confirm:
Experience with WordPress and Elementor
Technical SEO experience
Experience resolving SSL, redirect, and canonical issues
Understanding that this is audit-driven optimisation, not a redesign
Note
The website URL and WooRank audit PDF will be shared privately with shortlisted candidates only.
