WordPress / Elementor Generalist – AI-Driven Multi-Site Platform (HERE / HERECity)

Location: Remote (Strong preference for Philippines-based candidates; open globally)

About the Role
We operate a growing network of city-based digital platforms under the HERE / HERECity.com brand. These are not brochure sites — they are content + commerce platforms that combine local news, sports, education, shopping, directories, and monetized pages across dozens of cities.
We are seeking a high-level WordPress / Elementor generalist who can execute quickly inside a repeatable, AI-driven workflow. You will take AI-generated specs, layouts, and code and turn them into clean, production-ready WordPress builds, while also maintaining and improving existing sites across the network.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a systems-based environment, enjoys shipping real work daily, and wants to grow with a long-term platform rather than jumping between short-term gigs.
Core Responsibilities
Build and maintain WordPress sites using Elementor across a multi-site city network
Implement repeatable page templates for sections such as:
City pages
News, Sports, Education, Shopping, and Local Business sections
Take AI-generated code, prompts, and instructions (ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini) and implement them accurately
Work with WooCommerce elements including:
Product and listing pages
Sponsored placements
Checkout and commerce-related UI components
Repair, optimize, and refactor existing WordPress pages and templates
Assist with Google Maps and Google API integrations for location-based content
Collaborate daily with a Philippines-based internal team using Slack
Communicate clearly, proactively, and professionally in English
Follow and help improve internal SOPs as the platform scales
Required Skills & Experience
Strong WordPress expertise
Advanced Elementor proficiency (containers, responsive layouts, dynamic content)
Comfortable working with:
HTML / CSS (JavaScript is a plus)
Theme and plugin troubleshooting
Proven experience:
Building scalable templates (not just one-off pages)
Fixing broken layouts, plugins, or functionality on live sites
Excellent English communication skills
Slack-first work style (daily updates, ownership, accountability)
Ability to work consistently during 5 PM – 1 AM EST
Strong Plus / Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WooCommerce (even if not a full e-commerce specialist)
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
Experience with Google Maps API, Places API, or similar services
Prior work on:
Multi-city or multi-location sites
Media, directory, marketplace, or content-driven platforms
Experience working with remote or Philippines-based teams
