WordPress Dev: Elementor + WooCommerce Expert Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Title: Elementor Expert Needed: Fix Layout Issues + Build 3 Page Templates + WooCommerce Setup (~150 products)
> Overview
We’re looking for an experienced WordPress + Elementor developer to clean up some layout issues in our Elementor templates, build 3 new reusable Elementor page templates, and set up our WooCommerce shop including product structure and import (approx. 150 products via CSV, no images).
This is a practical, detail-oriented job. We want someone who can diagnose Elementor container issues quickly (flex/min-height/gap/justify-content etc), build clean templates, and structure WooCommerce properly for long-term use.
Scope of Work
1) Elementor Layout Fixes (Template-Level)
We have an issue across pages using the same template where there is excessive vertical spacing/gaps between the page title and content.
Tasks include:
Identify cause of unwanted vertical spacing/gaps (Elementor container/flex layout settings, theme styles, global styles, etc.)
Fix the issue at template level so it applies site-wide
Ensure changes don’t break mobile/tablet layout
Maintain existing styling and brand design
Deliverable: Template(s) corrected and verified across multiple pages.
2) Build 3 Elementor Page Templates
Create 3 reusable Elementor templates (Theme Builder or Templates depending on best practice).
Each template must:
Be responsive (desktop/tablet/mobile)
Use global fonts/colors where appropriate
Use consistent spacing and container structure
Be easy for non-technical staff to edit content later
Templates required:
Standard Content Page Template (Heading, sections, image/text blocks)
Blog / Post Template (or improved single post template if needed)
Product parent/category page Template (CTA blocks, feature sections, testimonials/FAQ optional)
Deliverable: 3 templates created and tested.
3) WooCommerce Shop Setup + Product Import
We need the WooCommerce shop set up properly, with a clean product taxonomy and import.
> Tasks include:
Configure WooCommerce store basics (settings, currency, shipping rules placeholder ok unless otherwise specified)
Create product category/tag structure including parent/child categories (and/or attributes where appropriate)
Import ~150 products using CSV
Products with images have the url already in the csv
Ensure correct mapping: SKU, title, description, short description, categories, tags, price, stock status, etc.
Confirm product filtering and taxonomy is usable
Ensure URLs/permalinks are clean and SEO-safe
Deliverable: Products imported and correctly organised in WooCommerce.
> Requirements
Strong Elementor experience (especially Containers/Flexbox and template-level troubleshooting)
Strong WooCommerce experience (categories/tags/attributes + CSV imports)
Must be comfortable debugging layout issues using browser inspect/devtools
Must work cleanly (no messy nested containers, no hard-coded hacks unless necessary)
Good communication and ability to explain what was changed
> Nice to Have
Experience building fast-loading Elementor sites (performance awareness)
Basic SEO knowledge (permalinks, taxonomy structure)
Experience working with brand guidelines / consistent UI
> What We Will Provide
WordPress admin access
Elementor pro installed
Product CSV export
Brand guidelines (colours/fonts)
Example pages and desired structure for templates
> Deliverables Checklist
Layout gap issue fixed site-wide
3 Elementor templates created and responsive
WooCommerce configured
Categories/tags/structure created correctly (parent/child)
~150 products imported and verified
Brief documentation / handover notes
> To Apply (please include)
Your estimated timeframe to complete all tasks
Confirmation you can work directly in Elementor Theme Builder and troubleshoot layout issues
We have only basic Woo/Elementor/WP literacy in-house.
