WooCommerce/Elementor Pro Single Product Page Enhancement
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Type:
WooCommerce / Elementor Pro – Custom Single Product Page Template with Dynamic Add-On (Boxspring) Cross-Sell Section
Overview:
I’m building a WooCommerce mattress site using Elementor Pro and have a single product template where I want to dynamically include a cross-sell or “complete your bed” add-on section.
Each mattress model has a corresponding boxspring — and which boxspring it pairs with depends on its brand and collection. So, for example:
Beautyrest Black models get the Beautyrest Black Boxspring
Beautyrest Hybrid models get the Beautyrest Hybrid Boxspring, etc.
This relationship is:
Brand → Collection → Model → Corresponding Boxspring
I want the cross-sell to display on the same product page (not a bundle, not a redirect). Ideally, users should be able to:
View a horizontal one-column section (with product image, name)
Select 2 variations (size + profile) of the boxspring
Click “Add to Cart” and stay on the mattress page
What I’ve Tried:
I’m using Elementor’s Theme Builder with dynamic ACF fields to display relevant boxspring images and embed an add_to_cart shortcode using the product ID. This works, but:
Selecting boxspring variations overwrites the mattress product image (undesirable)
I’m manually assigning product IDs in an ACF field, but it’s not scalable
Native WooCommerce upsell/cross-sell widgets show a stacked layout with “Select Options” buttons and force users to leave the page
My Ideal Solution:
A reusable section (via shortcode or custom widget) I can drop into my product template that:
Dynamically fetches the right boxspring based on brand/collection
Supports manual override per product (via ACF, dropdown, or product ID field)
Keeps the mattress product image static
Allows users to select boxspring variations and add to cart inline
Works scalably across 1000+ products and 20+ brands
Could later be duplicated for other accessories/add--ons like protectors, sheets, adjustable bases, etc.
Technical Stack:
WordPress + WooCommerce
Elementor Pro Theme Builder (single product template)
ACF (if necessary)
Currently staging the new site
Timeline & Future Scope:
Flexible on time (3–4 weeks is fine)
Would love this to be set up cleanly so I can continue listing products afterward
I’m not a developer, but I want to manage and maintain this myself going forward
Happy to assign cross-sell logic per product or per category/collection if needed
