Rebuild existing Base44 Calculator in WordPress + Elementor (Free Version)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to recreate a Budget Calculator & Expense Tracker that I have already designed in Base44, and implement it natively in WordPress.
Live reference (Base44 calculator):
https://up-task-pro-build-budget-pro-dc6246b9.base44.app
The goal is to faithfully recreate both the layout and the calculation logic inside WordPress while keeping the solution:
Update-safe
Lightweight
Compatible with Elementor (Free version)
Fully compatible with the Workreap theme
Mobile Friendly
This is not a generic calculator — it reflects real-world construction budgeting logic and must behave accurately.
Scope of Work
1. UI / Layout Recreation
Recreate the visual layout of the Base44 calculator in WordPress
Match spacing, section hierarchy, and usability as closely as possible
Use Elementor Free where feasible
Custom HTML/CSS/JS is acceptable where Elementor is insufficient
Styling must integrate cleanly with the Workreap theme
2. Calculator Logic & Functionality
Line-item budget inputs
Category subtotals
Grand total calculation
Contingency calculations
Automatic updates when values change
Clean number formatting (currency, percentages)
The calculations must match the Base44 version exactly in behavior and output.
Technical Requirements
WordPress (latest stable)
Elementor Free (no Pro features)
Workreap theme
No core theme file edits (child-theme safe)
Clean, readable, well-structured code
JavaScript-based calculations preferred (no page reloads)
What I’m Looking For
✅ Strong WordPress fundamentals
✅ Elementor (Free) experience
✅ Comfortable with custom JS for calculations
✅ Experience working around theme limitations
✅ Attention to detail (layout + math accuracy)
✅ Ability to follow an existing reference precisely
Deliverables
Fully working calculator embedded in a WordPress page
Matches Base44 layout and behavior
Clear explanation of:
Where code lives
How calculations work
How to edit or extend later
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with financial calculators
UX/UI sensibility
Performance optimization awareness
This project is part of a larger platform build, so future work is possible for the right developer.
I value clean execution, accuracy, and communication over speed.
