Fix Elementor Directory ACF Errors
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
We have an existing WordPress website built using:
Elementor Pro
Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Hello Elementor theme
Custom “Franchise Directory” custom post type (CPT)
The site is a live business directory with approximately 80+ franchise entries.
After recent updates / plugin changes, the dynamic content system has broken across the entire site, and we need urgent restoration.
Critical Issue Description
What is happening:
The Elementor templates for the Franchise directory still exist and are correctly assigned.
The frontend layout is still loading correctly (Theme Builder is active).
HOWEVER, all ACF-driven dynamic content has stopped rendering.
Instead of real data, we now see:
placeholder text
dummy/static fallback content
empty fields where ACF values should appear
Specific technical symptoms:
ACF fields are completely missing from Elementor Dynamic Tags UI
Elementor still loads templates for CPT “Franchise”
Display conditions for templates are correct
ACF plugin is active and working in WordPress admin
ACF field values still exist in backend posts
BUT Elementor is not rendering ACF data on frontend
Likely Root Cause (for developer reference)
We suspect one or more of the following:
Elementor Pro (recent update) broke ACF dynamic tags integration
Elementor dynamic tags provider not registering ACF module
Version incompatibility between Elementor Pro and ACF
Corrupted Elementor “kit” / dynamic data registry
Plugin conflict blocking Elementor ACF integration hooks
Cache / optimization plugin interfering with Elementor dynamic rendering system
Environment Details
WordPress: latest (or near latest)
Theme: Hello Elementor
Elementor Pro: 4.1.0
ACF: 6.8.3
Custom Post Type: Franchise (directory system)
Hosting: standard shared/VPS (to be confirmed)
Required Fix
We need a developer to:
1. Diagnose root cause
Identify why ACF is not appearing in Elementor Dynamic Tags and why data is not rendering.
2. Restore ACF dynamic rendering
Ensure Elementor properly loads:
ACF Field
ACF Image
ACF URL
All ACF dynamic tags
3. Restore frontend franchise directory output
Ensure all 80+ franchise entries correctly display ACF data again.
4. Ensure system stability
Confirm fix is not temporary and will not break again after cache or plugin updates.
Expected Skills
Must be experienced with:
WordPress debugging
Elementor Pro (Theme Builder, Dynamic Tags)
Advanced Custom Fields (ACF / ACF Pro)
Custom Post Types (CPT)
WordPress plugin conflict resolution
Elementor data architecture / rendering system
Urgency
This is a live production issue affecting a business directory site.
We require:
fast turnaround diagnosis (same day preferred)
clear explanation of root cause
permanent fix (not workaround if possible)
Additional Notes
We are NOT looking to rebuild the site.
Data is intact — this is a rendering/integration failure.
Access to staging/backup available if needed.
To Apply, please include:
Experience with Elementor + ACF integration issues
Examples of similar fixes
