# WordPress Website Builder / Developer Needed – Ongoing Team Role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Website Builder / Developer to join our growing digital marketing and web development team.

This is not a basic “drag and drop” website role. We need someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent English communication, and the ability to independently research, understand, and implement website builds based on competitor examples and project requirements.

You will work closely with our internal team to help build high-quality, modern, SEO-focused WordPress websites for Australian businesses.

## What We Need

You must be capable of:

* Building professional WordPress websites from start to finish
* Understanding project requirements with minimal hand-holding
* Reviewing competitor websites and understanding the expected outcome
* Researching layouts, functionality, plugins, and implementation methods
* Following brand direction and improving upon ideas
* Creating responsive, mobile-friendly websites
* Working with Elementor, themes, plugins, and custom functionality
* Troubleshooting website issues independently
* Implementing technical SEO best practices during development
* Optimising website speed and performance
* Communicating clearly in English with our team

## Required Skills

* Strong WordPress experience
* Elementor experience preferred
* Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
* Technical problem-solving ability
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions accurately
* Ability to think critically and offer solutions
* Experience with responsive design
* Understanding of website UX/UI principles
* Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
