Consulting & Software Websites Content Adaptation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Summary
Introduction:
We are splitting our company into two and need to create two new websites (consulting and software).
We have an existing WordPress site built in Elementor which we can reuse. We do not want a redesign; we are happy to carry the existing look and feel across. However, the content and structure will change significantly.
We have already written the content and defined the menu structure. The task is to transfer this content into the new sites and adapt it for effective web presentation.
The current content is too dense for a website. We need someone who can reshape it (without changing meaning) into a format that works online, improving readability, structure and visual presentation.
What we need:
We are looking for someone who can:
Work within the existing WordPress / Elementor setup and reuse current layouts
Interpret and adapt content to fit those layouts
Improve readability, structure and flow for web presentation
Break content into clear headings, short paragraphs, lists and structured sections
The goal:
Content is visually consistent with the existing site
Pages are easy to scan and read
A consistent style is applied across all pages
Scope:
Approximately 50 pages
Reuse existing layouts (no rebuilding from scratch)
Adapt and insert content into those layouts
Light editing (not full rewriting)
Ensure consistency across all pages
What this is not:
Not a design project
Not a full website build
Not basic data entry
Not a full copywriting or marketing rewrite
Ideal candidate:
Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor
Experience with content editing or UX writing
Good eye for structure, spacing and readability
Able to translate dense content into clear web pages
Comfortable making wording adjustments to improve clarity
Key requirement:
You must be able to look at content and decide:
What should be a heading
What should be shortened
What should become bullet points
How content fits into existing layout components
Please include:
Examples of pages where you improved content layout and readability (not just built pages)
A brief explanation of how you would approach adapting structured content into an existing design
Confirmation that you are comfortable working within an existing layout (no redesign)
$600.00
Fixed-price
Intermediate
Experience Level
Project Type: Ongoing project
You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting a proposal:
We will provide structured written content.
How would you approach adapting it into an existing website layout so that it is easy to read and visually effective?
When working with long or dense content, how do you decide what to shorten, restructure, or turn into headings or bullet points?
In Elementor, would you typically build pages section-by-section, or work with a single content area within a template? Please explain your approach.
Please share one example where you improved the readability or structure of a page, and briefly explain what you changed.
