transmitter and reciever

i need to configure two xbees pro (zigbee protocol) foy any of those xbees to be able to transmit and receive. I need to use 2 raspberry pi4 and plug an xbee on each one. the idea is to transmit data between the xbee and have an LCD screen on the pi4 in order to see that the message its been transmitted successfully and be able to use the other pi to answer the message. I was thinking also to transmit a picture not sure if possible.
