R&D - DC system controller for renewable energy system

Job ID: 32053166

Budget: $25 – $50 AUD

This is an research and development project with DCI Industries.

We are looking for an electrical/electronics engineer or someone with similar skills to work with us to develop a DC power controller.
We are quite aware that there are many DC power controllers on the market currently, however, the unit we are going to produce does not exist at present.

The project is to build a working prototype.
The full specifications on the project will be delivered to the successful individual or company once a non disclosure agreement has been signed. There are aspects of this project that we do not want released until we bring the product to market.

The designed controller will be able to take a variable DC power input from two micro hydro alternators (3 phase AC generators through a bridge rectifier) and convert it into a singular DC power supply and then control the output voltage and current of the power through 3 outputs which can be programmed in their output to suit specific loads.

If you think you have what it takes to assist us to engineer a suitable design, even if you can only prove it's function through simulation, but can provide accurate drawings so that we can approach a PCB manufacturer to build the prototype, then please contact us.
If you have the ability to help develop the controller as well as produce the prototype, this would be an advantage.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this information and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
