4 product dispensing unit
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I'm constructing a dispensing unit with 4 tanks, 4 pumps, 4 hall effect liquid volume meters (pulse), and 4 solenoid valves. The tanks will each have an ultrasonic sensor that will need to be calibrated on my end to establish liquid level. the meters will also need to be calibrated as each of the chemicals being dispensed has a different specific gravity and commodities will change periodically.
The touch screen needs to display tank volumes on the home screen, a company logo background, and 4 buttons to select the commodity to be dispensed. The next screen will need to enable the operator to select an amount to be dispensed from 50 to 2000 ml and also display a graphic of the tank with available volume. unit should be programed to dispense only when an "execute" button is pressed on screen, then the operator will press an analog button which will be mounted on the wand and should only dispense for a maximum of 30 seconds until an error " unable to dispense" message appears.
I have an Arduino Uno r3 and a stone 7" touchscreen with an 8 zone relay for the pumps and solenoids
Operator should be able to turn unit on, view tank levels, select item to be dispensed, set quantity, press "dispense", pick up the wand and aim and place it in the area to receive product, press the button on the wand and unit should engage the pump and solenoid until the required amount is dispensed, then remove the wand and replace it into its holder and dispense the next product.
