I am trying to control an air compressor that utilizes a speed controller with tach output and pwm input for speed control. I want to create a pid loop that will automatically speed the compressor up and down based off of the signal received by a pressure sensor. As the pressure increases the speed changes.
I also want to create a 2nd program where, the user scrolls up and down between 30 and 70 in a menu in increments of one, Whatever number the user chooses thats the flowrate the compressor will operate it. In order to do this each line of code must have 3 points, less than, equal to, greater than. Meaning if 30 lpm is chosen, the air compressor will produce 30 liter per minute of air the entire time. Because the flowrate changes based upon the pressure in the air tank. It must read the pressure sensor and if its below 50 psi it will operate at 30% pwm, if the pressure sensor is equal to 50 psi to 100 psi it will generate 50%pwm, if the pressure sensor reads over 100 - 150 psi, it will change the speed to 80% pwm.
The first is fully automated, the 2nd is predictable based off of previously entered data.
