I need LED lights (or other lights) designed and worked out for a sculpture

Job ID: 34238172

Budget: $150 – $1,000 USD

I'm building acrylic sculptures that are lit from below. The lights and electronics need to fit and live in the base base of the sculpture. They're not disposable sculptures and would have to have the option of light replacements.

The biggest problem I'm having is with the power source. I can't have an ugly, function-only cords on a sculpture that takes dozens of hours to create. The pieces need to function as high-end, sculptural lights and need attractive cords. (It would be wonderful to make them dimmable too.) I'm more than flexible as to how to accomplish this, and am open to approaches other than LEDs, but I can't compromises on the aesthetic visuals of the project.

I know how to solder, but I'm struggling to understand and find the electronics. If I could get specific instructions, and a buying guide, I think I can assemble without (too many) problems. Please refer to my attached PDF for a diagram of the project and the specs and size of the lamp base.

(Once this job is figured out, I'll have a future project that includes, or implies, movement in the lights. I'm thinking Raspberry Pi or the building a light shade with mechanical movement inside the base.)
