WAGO PLC Program Migration from Schneider
Budget: €3,000 – €5,000 EUR
We have developed a telemanagement system for photovoltaic (PV) parks utilizing Schneider RTUs and PLCs. Our objective is to migrate this system to a WAGO PLC platform, ensuring compliance with the European Union's Network Code on Requirements for Generators (RfG) as implemented in Greece.
Project Requirements:
PLC Programming Expertise: Proficiency in programming WAGO PLCs, with a focus on converting existing code from Schneider to WAGO systems.
Modbus Communication: Strong understanding of the Modbus protocol, as the system incorporates both digital commands and Modbus-based communications.
RfG Compliance: Familiarity with the EU's Network Code on Requirements for Generators (Regulation (EU) 2016/631) and its application within the Greek regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the current Schneider-based telemanagement program.
Develop and implement an equivalent program for WAGO PLCs, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Configure and test Modbus communications to guarantee reliable data exchange between devices.
Ensure that the migrated system complies with the RfG code requirements as applied in Greece.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in migrating PLC programs between different platforms, particularly from Schneider to WAGO.
Familiarity with WAGO's programming environment and tools.
Proven track record in implementing and troubleshooting Modbus communications in industrial settings.
Knowledge of the RfG code and its implementation within the Greek energy sector.
Additional Information:
The existing system employs a combination of digital commands and Modbus protocol for device communication. The selected programmer will be responsible for ensuring that all functionalities are accurately replicated and optimized in the new WAGO-based system, while also ensuring compliance with the RfG code as implemented in Greece.
