Ultrasonic with 8x8 matrix and photoresistor

My project components :
Microcontroller LPC1768
Ultrasonic sensor
8x8 Matrix
Photo resister
Push button

My project idea is when I get closer to the sensor from 1-4 inches then the 8x8 matrix led would give me a shape that gets smaller the further I get from the matrix in addition to that the seven segment will turn on from 1 to 4 when I get 1 inch closer to sensor then a shape in the 8x8 matrix would come up as well as number 1 from the seven segment and so on until 4 inches.
Push button will be used to control the seven segment if you pushed it one then number one will come up and a character will come up in the 8x8 matrix if you pushed it twice number two will come up and another character smaller in size would come up from the 8x8 matrix .
Photo-resister will be used to control one led (when you make it a bit darker then led will shine stronger)
All of this would be in one single program using C language using MBED COMPILER
