USB-3 storage device PCB design & fabrication
Budget: ₹150,000 – ₹250,000 INR
The job requires designing a custom USB-3 PCB that will store data in a secure manner. We require a custom PCB with custom components because this USB will have the below functionalities which a conventional USB cannot handle. The feauters are given below that can do the following
Reading writing speeds of a USB-3 device
Automatically encrypts & decrypts data written to the USB storage via the controller
Has some custom/extra code written in the controller that hides & shows the disk partitions
Has a memory area/partition that stores metadata for the controller
The size of the USB storage should be 4 GB
Your job will be to just design the PCB that can handle the above functionality. The above features will be embedded in the firmware by our team.
The deliverables will be 5 prototypes of USB-3 open PCB boards (size of the board is not a limitation at this stage). These protypes will be used by our programmers to code the above functionality in the firmware. If the protype work well then the next stage of the project will be miniaturizing the same configuration into usable commercial USB-3 drive.
