For optimal performance, the UPS requires an input power of 12V DC and an output power of 12V DC. It is capable of supporting a 2-3 amp load without delay or interruptions when the main power source is switched off or on. Additionally, while operating on the main power supply, the UPS should simultaneously provide power to the load and charge the lithium-ion batteries. The circuit board must include a battery management system (BMS) to protect the 3S lithium-ion battery pack, including short circuit protection.
