Troubleshoot My DC-DC Buck Converter Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am designing a DC to DC buck converter, intended for use with mains voltage after rectification. My design works perfectly with outputs from any SMPS, but I am encountering issues when connecting it to the mains voltage. In these instances, something always shorts out, leading to my fuse breaking the circuit.
The specifications for the converter are as follows:
- Output voltage: 48V
- Output current: 10A
- Output can be connected to any type of load (resistive, inductive or capacitive)
I need a professional with extensive experience in power electronics and DC-DC converter design to help me troubleshoot and resolve these issues. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of electrical schematics and could provide clear, detailed feedback on potential design flaws or miscalculations.
