[Tina-Ti software] Simulation of Analog Computer for a Custom Rocket
Budget: $40 – $70 USD
This project concerns the design and implementation of an analogue computer based on operational amplifiers to control the flight of a hand-built rocket. The system must process the analog signal from an accelerometer (±5g, 0.5V/g, 0g = 2.5V) to (1) detect the start of liftoff, (2) track the acceleration path during ascent, (3) detect the time of acceleration zeroing for parachute activation, and (4) provide stable and reliable output despite the presence of transient disturbances and vibration. A complete documentation of the operation of each individual block of the circuit, a description of the signal processing methods for noise rejection, and a presentation of the simulation results with the Tina-TI program are required.
You will be given detailed instructions, expected results, and a text diagram which you may however need to slightly correct.
