555 Timer Circuit Modification for Wiper Control
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm looking for a freelancer who can help me modify an existing Adjustable 555 timer circuit to control windscreen wiper motors. The project entails circuit design, testing, and prototyping on breadboard and stripboard.
Key Tasks:
1. Circuit Design:
• Modify the existing 555 timer circuit to include a servo motor for the windscreen wiper.
• Design the circuit to control the wipers motion using the 555 timer.
• Incorporate a push button into the design to activate the wipers movement.
• Provide a detailed schematic diagram of the modified circuit.
2. Testing and Results:
• Demonstrate and provide observations and results, including any issues encountered and how they were resolved.
• Include measurements of motor speed.
3. Breadboard & Stripboard Prototype:
• Design and assemble the modified circuit on the boards.
• Provide a clear and labelled diagram of the boards layout.
The ideal candidate for this project should have a strong background in electronics and circuit design, with specific experience working with 555 timer circuits. Prototyping experience with breadboards and stripboards is crucial. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing is essential. A good understanding of servo motors and circuit schematics will be highly advantageous.
