The PDS430E2272 is an ultra-low power 16-bit MCU developed by Power Down Semiconductor to deliver the "best in class" power/performance metric of any 16-bit MCU. Compared to TI's MSP430F2272, our part reduces the active power by 96.6% while running 3X faster. The part was fabricated at TSMC in their 65nm process. Currently, the part needs testing and characterization work to be done in the upcoming months.
