Simulation of control of motor with current monitor and over current fault
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am looking for a simulation (SPICE or TINA-TI) of a control AC motor.
I have two version of schematic but they are very similar.
The first version is with phase + neutral 230VAC 50Hz motor (20A maximum current)
The second version is with three phases 380VAC 50Hz motor (10A each phase maximum current)
I think is it possible to use same components except for the three phases version where I have to use a lower current sensor (12.5A or 15A for example)
In the attached schematic I used hall current monitor like ACS711 for 25A of maximum current.
I used TRIAC T3035 (30A maximum current).
Important is the detection of over current in shor circuit condition.
In this condition I use OCF line of current monitor to disable gate of TRIAC and save it.
In the attached schematic is not present microcontroller because is not an important component in simulation.
I need to calculate power dissipation of triac in the maximum current and to have the correct size of customized heatsink made with simply aluminum to dissipate the necessary power.
I hope in a 180x120x5mm plate.
