7-Segment Display & Logisim Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need to build a 7-segment display on a breadboard that reads my student number (one letter and six numbers). This project is for my university course. In addition, I also need to create the same display in Logisim software, using as few gates as possible.
The ideal candidate for this project should be proficient in:
- Breadboarding and basic electronics
- Logisim software
- Digital logic design, particularly using AND, OR, NOT gates
The project requires:
- Using a 7-segment display to represent a specific student number
- Minimizing the number of gates used in Logisim
- A clear understanding of the use of AND, OR, NOT gates in logic design
