STM32 code to measure frequency

Dear developer,
I have an STM32G030F6 uC (TSOP20) with an external signal connected to PA10 (TIM1). I would like to read the frequency (0 to 10kHz) of that signal (rising flank) and store it internally (let's say every 200ms) and generate an internal interrupt so the software on that uC can make it available via I2C.
TASK:
deliver running and documented code for an STM32G030 that can count the rising flanks of the signal applied to PA10 to deliver the signal frequency (in Hz) as a stored value every 200ms. The rest of the software has to be made aware when a new value is stored (i.e. via interrupt or signal flag).

Please also state your FINAL bid for this project. If you have an STM32 at hand you can easily setup a demo system with a signal generator from 0-10kHz at PA10(PA12) to test your code.
