STM32 Firmware Development & Optimization
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced real-time embedded engineer to support the firmware development of an embedded control system.
Project Details:
The project involves working with STM32 microcontrollers to develop and optimize firmware for addressable loop communication.
Key tasks include enhancing communication protocols to ensure stable and reliable operations of addressable devices on the loop.
You will be responsible for optimizing microcontroller firmware, implementing efficient power management, and integrating new features as needed.
Perform testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards, especially in relation to dielectric withstand and load tests.
Collaborate with the hardware team to fine-tune the integration of power supplies and communication circuits.
Requirements:
Strong experience with STM32 microcontrollers and embedded C/C++ programming.
Proven expertise in real-time embedded systems, particularly in safety-critical applications.
Experience in optimizing firmware for microcontrollers, with a focus on efficient communication and power management.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to validate performance and troubleshoot as needed.
Objective:
Take over the firmware development and optimization tasks, ensuring the control system meets performance and reliability requirements.
This is a one-time project with potential for ongoing collaboration based on the quality of deliverables.
Although there are no specific milestones or deadlines, timely completion is preferred.
