SDR Design for Communication Applications

I'm seeking an experienced signal engineer to design and implement a Software Defined Radio (SDR) for me. This project involves creating a compact, efficient SDR capable of transmitting and receiving signals across a wide range of frequencies – specifically, HF (3-30 MHz), VHF (30-300 MHz), and UHF (300-3000 MHz). The SDR should also be able to interface with I2C, SPI, and UART.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design the PCB and select suitable components
- Build and test the SDR
- Deliver a fully functional, compact SDR

The primary use case for this SDR is in communications. You will also need to study and implement support for various modulation schemes including AM/FM, QAM, and PSK.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in signal engineering
- Proficiency in PCB design and component selection
- Hands-on experience in building and testing SDRs
- Familiarity with various modulation schemes
