Review My Circuit Schematic - Simple battery balancer
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
note: this is MCU controlled at 3.3V, the controller is for both a single 12v gel battery or 1x 24V or 2x 12V gel batteries for 24V, the charge amps should not exceed 1A to the batteries, the input voltage is DC on the pin connector and can be 13.8V or 27.4V DC. the reason for the TPS5430DDAR is if we want to lower the voltage from top battery to balancer bottom battery at 13.8V with the TPS5430DDAR and mosfet networks.
*This is open to electronic experts and or Engineers
I’ve drawn up a complete circuit schematic and would like a second pair of expert eyes on it. Your main task is to assess the overall design: verify that the topology hangs together logically, spot any weak points, and flag places where component values or tolerances might create problems in real-world operation.
You’ll receive the original schematic file along with the current bill of materials. Please walk through every stage, comment on potential failure nodes, suggest value changes where margins look tight, and highlight opportunities to simplify or improve reliability. I’m happy to tweak the design once I have your annotated feedback, so clear, actionable notes are essential.
Deliverable: a reviewed schematic (PDF or marked-up native file) plus a brief summary of recommended changes and the reasoning behind them.
