Real-Time Freezer & Fridge Monitor
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need a monitoring system for my freezer and fridge, using temperature sensors. Alerts should be sent to my email, and I require monitoring of the outlet power.
Key Requirements:
- Temperature sensors only
- Email notifications for alerts
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Experience with temperature monitoring systems
- -Knowledgeable in email alert systems
Detailed description of the Freezer and Fridge Monitoring System (FFMS)
Freezer and fridge monitoring electronic system (FFMS) is supposed to monitor a Fridge with the freezer and fridge components separately. It will generate an audible signal and send a message when the power dropped out or when the temperatures go out of rang.
The system will be powered by the 120 or 220Vac wall plug connected in the same place as the fridge. The system will include two (2) two-meter-long temperature sensors to monitor both the Fridge with the freezer and fridge components separately. The system will include a rechargeable battery that gets charged continuously.
Operation:
If the power goes out:
a) The FFMS will emit a loud audible signal in 30-second intervals for 100 hours. The homeowner or someone checking up on the house while the homeowner is away will hear it though one wall to draw attention to itself. The system includes an alarm reset button that will cause the alarm to shut off until the next power cycle.
b) The system will also send an email message via the homeowner’s WIFI system announcing the lack of electrical power.
If the freezer compartment or the Fridge compartment gets too warm, the FFMS will
a) Emit a loud audible signal in 30-second intervals, and,
b) Send an email message via the homeowner’s WIFI system announcing the warm temperature problem.
c) The homeowner can adjust the two temperature thresholds individually.
