Raspberry Pi Motor Control Panel

Hello, I am looking for some help developing a motor and heating control system using a Raspberry Pi. This system will require the use of DC Motors to provide the necessary control. I do have an idea of what the project design should be like, but I am open to suggestions. Since the system needs to have easy user friendliness, I was thinking of a touchscreen interface.
