Hello,
We’re James Bailey and Daniel Ashworth, founders of UK Transport Boards, a startup selling novelty live train departure boards powered by Raspberry Pi. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable electronics freelancer to help source, assemble, and deliver 5 working prototype units, with the potential for scaling up to 50–300+ units.

What’s required per unit:
• Raspberry Pi Zero WH (with pre-soldered headers)
• 0.96” OLED SSD1306 display (I2C)
• 16GB MicroSD (we will provide BalenaOS image)
• Jumper wires (female-male, GPIO to display)
• UK micro USB power supply
• Compact case (plastic or wood — open to ideas)
• Basic packaging (bubble wrap or small box)
You will:
• Source or receive parts
• Assemble & solder if needed
• Flash the SD card with image (provided)
• Power-test the unit
• Pack and ship all 5 units to a UK address

(£30–£60 per unit depending on whether you supply or we provide parts)

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with Raspberry Pi builds or Arduino-level electronics
• Familiarity with GPIO wiring and flashing images to SD cards
• Based in the UK or EU preferred (for shipping ease)
• Responsive, trustworthy, and open to long-term work
