RGB Matrix LED Screen - C coding required
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
We are using LED Panel H32 x W64 pixels 1/8 scan, with LED Driver Chipone ICN2153.
We have written source code which can display text & image on LED Screen, but having issues in resolving flickering, glitches, and random black rectangles.
Require freelancer with experience with RGB Matrix, using the hzeller github framework, as well as experience with PWM Driver Chip ICN2153. The controller is a RPI 4, with Electrodragon Hub Board. The LED Screen size is W96 pixels x H64 pixels, which consists of 3 x LED Panels orientated vertically.
The work involves modifying current source code to correctly display text & images, than perform the following tests of the modified code -
1. Display full screen - Red, Green, Blue, each colour for 2 seconds before changing to next colour, continuous loop (with no flickering, glitches or random black rectangles) at 100% brightness.
2. Display full screen - Red, Green, Blue, each colour for 2 seconds before changing to next colour, continuous loop (with no flickering, glitches or random black rectangles) at 50% Brightness.
3. Display full screen - Red, Green, Blue, each colour for 2 seconds before changing to next colour, continuous loop (with no flickering, glitches or random black rectangles) at 25% Brightness.
4. Display text message (Line 1 - SLOW, Line 2 - DOWN) in full screen font size (with no flickering, glitches or random black rectangles), changing between colours RED, GREEN, BLUE at 100% Brightness.
5. Display text message (1) (SLOW DOWN) for 3 seconds, than change to text message (2) (90) for 3 seconds, continuous loop (with no flickering, glitches or random black rectangles)
6. Display image at full screen size for 3 seconds on, than 3 seconds off, loop continuously.
Testing will be via remote PC connection to our setup with hardware, using "anydesk".
If you have no experience with the above hardware and zheller framework, DO NOT apply to this project.
Payment will only be released upon completed works and upon our team testing your work.
