24V 20w - 300mA RGB LED Driver Development

Job ID: 37643288

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I'm seeking a skilled electronics engineer to design an effective 20w RGB LED driver. Here are my requirements:

- Input voltabe isn't critical, as we can use a regulator to manage input voltages, but should be optimized for a 24V supply.
- Typical current will be approximately 300mA per colour

- The RGB LED driver should employ a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) interface for control.

- 20w chip common anodes are the most commononly avalable power LED's, and we need a solution for an LED controller to suit these LED's

- The solution can be individual drivers for each colour, in fact we prefer that, but they must be a common anode design to suit the available LED's.

- Thermal management is critical for longevity

We previously used individual LED's and used multiple AL8863 drivers, but these require indepemdant anode and cathode, so we can use them for this project. We can't find a driver IC to do this, so here's the project for yuo to help us.

We need PWM control so we can set different brightness levels for each colour to utilise full RGB. PWM for each colour

Ideal Skill Set:
You should have a solid background in electrical or electronics engineering with a particular focus on LED driver design and integration. Proficiency in PWM systems and advanced knowledge of voltage and power considerations for LEDs is essential.
Past experience with LEDs, particularly RGB variations, will be a huge advantage. Practical problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail should be amongst your best attributes.
