Design a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W HAT that provides industrial 4G LTE communication while functioning as a UART bridge/relay for external devices. The board must interface with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W via the 40-pin GPIO header and expose an external UART interface for device communication. Cellular uplink must be handled via a 4G LTE module with an external antenna interface.
The HAT will:
Provide a UART communications interface between an external embedded system and the Raspberry Pi.
Provide 4G LTE network connectivity for forwarding serial data received from the UART.
Operate from a 5V input supply with onboard regulation.
Include industrial-grade protections for EMI, surge, and UART line conditioning.
Must be ready for enclosure.
The HAT will:
