Power Electronics Engineer Needed for SMPS Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in need of a skilled Power Electronics Engineer to design a Forward topology SMPS for consumer electronics. This SMPS should meet the following specifications:
- Input: 90 VAC - 250 VAC on the primary side
- Outputs: 24 VDC (2.6A) and 15 VDC (0.6A) on the secondary side
- Utilization of UC3843 current control chip exclusively
- PCB Size: As small as possible, maximum of 35 mm wide x 65 mm long
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a durable SMPS conforming to the provided specifications
- Validate the design through physical prototyping
- Share voltage sweep results with the proto BOM
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Proven experience in designing SMPS, specifically with Forward topology
- Expertise in physical hardware realization and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with consumer electronics requirements
- Experience with passive cooling (heatsink) thermal management
