You should use flash memory to store up to 1000 positions, when I have no gprs signal (download in fifo mode).
Tracker must have USB connector to: configure equipment and charge the battery, panic button and accelerometer.
Firmware must have following requirements
Transmit and receive TCP socket
Update firmware via FOTA
Activate RF module only when there is no GPRS signal
Receive configuration commands via socket, usb, sms
Sleep module (disables gps and gsm modules until transmission) ;
Data required for submission on the platform
