Piezoelectric Actuator Driver Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Bonus: Will add upto 50% bonus on top of the posted salary ($250) (Conditions apply. See below for details)
Note: Candidates who will share their experiences on designing drivers for piezo will be interviewed. Kindly do not apply for this job if you do not have experience designing hardware for piezoeoectric actuator.
Job summary:
Make a flex pcb actuator to drive piezoelectric device working within 1 kHz. There will be NDA and all soft-copies related to design needs to be submitted upon completion. It is expected that the candidate will write a detailed report on simulation and calculation for this circuit.
I am seeking a skilled engineer to design a driver for a piezoelectric actuator intended for use in laboratory conditions. The primary function of this actuator is frequency and actuation control. The ideal candidate for this project should have thorough experience in the following areas:
- Precision Control Systems: The driver should be capable of accurately controlling the force output of the piezoelectric actuator.
- Embedded Systems: Familiarity with embedded systems design is crucial, as the driver will be responsible for translating digital signals into precise force control.
- Lab Equipment Integration: Experience in developing systems to be used in laboratory environments is highly preferred.
Given that the actuator will operate in a laboratory environment, the design should take into account the following factors:
- Reliability: The driver should be designed to provide consistent and reliable force control over extended periods of time.
- Safety: Ensuring the actuator does not exceed preset force limits is crucial for the safety of the equipment and personnel.
- Compatibility: The system should be compatible with standard lab equipment and interfaces.
The control input for the driver should be a digital signal. Ideally, the driver should be designed to integrate seamlessly with existing digital control systems.
Bonus:
Will add upto 50% bonus on top of the posted salary. This condition is only applicable to those candidates who either has designed exact driver I am looking for and will do all the device characterization or will design the hardware by him/her/themselves after designing the PCB and demostrate its efficacy/characterization report before handing me over the design softcopies
