create a machine which uses hydraulic cylinders to press a fitting onto either end of a cable. There are two options for the types of Connectors. The 45-280 connector and the legacy connector.
The 45-280 connector needs the following conditions to be true during the cycle:
1. Cylinders extended.
2. Parts inserted.
3. Hydraulics at 250 PSI
4. 2 hand control to start (Pressed within 0.5 seconds of each other)
5. Cylinders retract to compress connector to cable.
6. Hold for 5 seconds.
7. Release cylinders to original “Up” Position – reed switches to indicate position.
The legacy connectors will follow the same cycle with the only change being 200 PSI required for the Hydraulics
You must have safety on this, Light Curtains, (with a push button to simulate) E-Stop, Over pressure, motor overload, Hydraulic oil Temp Sensor.
create a HMI screen with the pertinent information to be displayed to the operator/engineer. Let the visualization show animation of what is going on in the machine
