PICs - Design and Simulation of an On-Chip Polarization Beam Splitter -- 2
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm looking for a talented engineer to design and simulate an on-chip polarization beam splitter with SiN for visible wavelengths, specifically in the 400-450 nm range (violet-blue).
The software to be used for the simulation must be Lumerical or Comsol. And then for the GDS design Python. I would need an expert in the design of photonic integrated circuits
Key Requirements:
- Proficient in Lumerical software for simulation
- Expertise in designing polarization beam splitters
- Experience with on-chip photonic device design
- Ability to optimize for Polarization Extinction Ratio (PER)
The primary focus will be on achieving a high Polarization Extinction Ratio. Other performance metrics, such as insertion loss and bandwidth, will also be considered, but to a lesser extent.
Please refer to the attached papers for design references and constraints.
