Modify EEPROM Code for ATmega1284P (Switch from AT24CM01 to M24M01)

We are currently using an ATmega1284P microcontroller in our device. Previously, we used the AT24CM01 EEPROM. We have now switched to the M24M01 EEPROM and need to update our existing firmware code accordingly.

What We Need:

Modify the current I2C EEPROM communication code to support the M24M01 EEPROM instead of AT24CM01.

Ensure compatibility with ATmega1284P (written in embedded C).

Optimize and test the EEPROM read/write functionality as per the M24M01 datasheet.

Assist with debugging and verifying proper EEPROM operations (write, read, page write, etc.).

Deliverables:

Updated source code

Instructions/comments for integrating the updated EEPROM code

Support during the integration and testing phase

Skills Required:

Embedded C programming

Experience with AVR microcontrollers (especially ATmega1284P)

I2C communication

Familiarity with AT24CM01 and M24M01 EEPROMs
