MicroPython Code for CNC Tube Trimming

I'm seeking a skilled developer proficient in coding the Raspberry Pi Pico using MicroPython. This project focuses on creating a single-axis CNC for trimming tubes to an accurate length.
Deliverables:
- ability to zero cutter head
-ability too set single axis to (x) above set tube length before moving single axis down to set length at (x) speed
- Allow the device to trim tubes to varying lengths, as selected by the user via buttons.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Expertise in MicroPython and Raspberry Pi Pico programming.
- Prior experience in controlling CNC machines through code.
- Understanding of sensor feedback and buttons interfacing for precision control.
