433 MHz PCB Pre-Compliance Review

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I have a compact 433 MHz transmitter built around a CMT2219B RF module driven by a GD32E230G8 MCU. Before we invest in the formal lab work, I want an experienced RF-compliance engineer to look over the current schematic and two-layer PCB layout to maximise our chances of passing both FCC Part 15 and the equivalent ISED requirements.

The focus is squarely on RF performance. I have no existing test data, so I’m relying on your insight to flag anything that might push us over the limits once we reach conducted or radiated emissions testing. Key areas include the matching network around the module, antenna feed, ground strategy, return-loss considerations, filtering, and any layout tweaks that could shave a few dB off leakage.

You’ll receive the design files (Gerber, pick-and-place, PDF prints, and the native CAD project). After your review I need:

• A concise report outlining every change that would materially improve compliance, ranked by impact and effort.
• Clear guidance on conducted and radiated emissions expectations, modulation characteristics, and any test-point additions you recommend for pre-scan work.
• If practical, annotated screenshots or layout mark-ups so my hardware team can implement the fixes quickly.

Feel free to reference proven techniques or tools such as VNA tuning, ADS simulations, or simple near-field probes if they back up your recommendations; I’m happy to iterate once to validate revisions.
