LED Screen Message Coding

hello, I am creating two spinning digital cubes that have 4 sides of led screens each I would like one to randomly generate arrows up, down, left and right when spun and one to randomly generate numbers 1-10 when spun. I have the led screens, a raspberry pi and an adafruit hat which allows it to link up to the led screens. I would like help writing the code and getting it to sense it moving. I would also like help knowing how to power this all with a wireless battery is this something you could do?
