LCD Display Troubleshooting for Device

I'm experiencing an intermittent issue with the second row of the LCD on my testing device. The LCD uses an ATmega1284P microcontroller and runs on CodeVision AVR. The problems have persisted for several months and occur randomly, independent of any specific test. Sometimes the issue resolves itself, but it can take a day or more for the screen to return to normal.

This project is suitable for a freelancer with strong experience in troubleshooting embedded systems and LCD displays. Ideally, the freelancer would have experience working with ATmega microcontrollers and CodeVision AVR.
