Interactive Home Device for Entertainment
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I’m looking to create a device for my son’s birthday that functions like a fortune teller. The device will respond with prerecorded messages when a child says specific target words or phrases. The goal is to make it feel like the device is having a conversation with the child. For example, the device might ask a question like "What’s your favorite color?" and, based on the child’s answer, follow up with additional questions or eventually give a "fortune" as the response. The device doesn’t need to understand the child's words; it just needs to trigger responses based on predefined phrases.
Here’s what I’m envisioning:
The device will play prerecorded messages in response to specific target words or phrases.
I want the ability to easily add or remove these target words/phrases.
Each target word/phrase should trigger 3-5 possible prerecorded responses (not just one response per word/phrase).
The prerecorded messages should be easy to update, ideally with a drag-and-drop interface for swapping out files
Ideal Skills:
- Experience with voice recognition technology.
- Proficiency in hardware design for home devices.
- Knowledge of creating interactive, entertaining devices.
Note: The device only needs to respond to commands in one language (English).
