Height Measurement Device Enhancement
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
We require an embedded systems expert to help us improve our height and weight measurement device. The current setup uses an AVR ATmega32 microcontroller, an LCD for results display, a load cell with HX711 for weight measurement, and an ultrasonic sensor for height measurement.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Modify the hardware to incorporate a new height sensor (exact sensor to be determined)
- Update the existing code to work with the new sensor, while optimizing for performance
- Ensure that both height and weight measurements are accurate and stable
- Provide debugging and testing support to ensure the device is reliable
The components of the current setup that will remain unchanged include the microcontroller, the weight measurement system, and the LCD display.
Ideal skills for this project include:
- Proficiency in embedded systems, specifically with AVR and ATmega32
- Strong C programming skills for microcontrollers
- Experience with sensor integration, particularly with load cells and HX711
- Familiarity with simulation software such as Proteus
- Excellent debugging and testing abilities
