Full-Duplex RF Transmitter for Drone -- 2

Job ID: 38615675

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I am looking to build an RF transmitter module for a drone application using SPI communication with a range of 1 to 2 kilometers. The system must support full-duplex communication, meaning it can transmit and receive data simultaneously at high bandwidth. The primary use case is for live video streaming and signal transmission from the drone to the controller.

For this project, I am open to using Raspberry Pi 5, Arduino, or any other suitable microcontroller. The module must be capable of handling both real-time video streaming and control signals with minimal latency.

Your proposal should include details on the RF module design that can meet these requirements, such as specific transceivers, antennas, and power setups that will achieve the desired range and bandwidth. I'm particularly interested in solutions that leverage high-frequency RF modules like LoRa, ZigBee, or custom-designed circuits, but the primary focus is on achieving full-duplex and long-range communication.

Budget:
The total budget for this project is $500, which will cover the design and proof-of-concept (POC). Payment will be made after successful testing and verification of the design in a real-world setup.

Please provide a clear breakdown of what you can build, including potential components, communication protocols, and how you will ensure full-duplex functionality.
