FANTASY LIVE GAME: Electronic Development/Firmware Porting-Modification

Job ID: 30853472

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD

Our company, BattlefieldSports.com is a leading company in commercial live combat gaming. We have an existing multi-genre very advanced system utilising lensed infrared and digital radio technology utilising the CC1101 module from TI. The existing system focuses mostly on a shooting game. This system now needs to be converted to better support Fantasy games such as Wands and Swords. To this end we need new electronic hardware designed, existing firmware ported over from the current Microchip dsPIC33EP512GP506 with modified and new drivers. A significant change is the inclusion of a low powered short distance Bluetooth system. Also to be added is a 3 axis Accelerometer. Game Logic code writing is not part of this project, that will be done as needed by Peter Lander from Battlefield Sports. More Program space is required on the new system as the existing dsPIC is almost full and more code will need to be added to support the new drivers and game functionality.

NOTE: I expect the bidder to fully read and understand the attached specification before making a bid. Low ball bids with the idea to negotiate later on price will be rejected. Also note that cost of making sample hardware and shipping these to Australia by Air is included in this project and must be part of bid price, not an extra cost added later.
