Key Responsibilities:
Test Program Development & Optimization: Develop, debug, and optimize ICT and functional test programs for complex electronic assemblies.
Failure Analysis & Debugging: Remotely analyze test failures, diagnose root causes of issues at the component and circuit level, and guide the onsite team through advanced debugging procedures.
Fixture Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for the design, development, and validation of new and existing test fixtures.
Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance test coverage, yield, and overall test process efficiency.
Technical Consultation: Act as a remote subject matter expert, offering detailed technical advice and solutions for challenging production test scenarios.
Remote Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with an onsite production team, providing clear instructions and documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hardcore Electronics Engineering: Extensive practical experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically in production test and quality assurance.
In-Circuit Test (ICT) Expertise: Deep theoretical and practical understanding of ICT principles, methodologies, and common failure modes.
Functional Test Expertise: Strong knowledge of functional testing of electronic circuits and assemblies.
Advanced Tester Proficiency: Proven experience with industry-standard ICT and functional test platforms. Experience with PROMIK, SPEA, Keysight (Agilent), Teradyne, Seica, or TRI testers is highly valuable.
Test Program Development: Demonstrated ability to develop, validate, and troubleshoot test programs.
Circuit Analysis & Debugging: Expert-level skills in analyzing complex schematics, board layouts, and component datasheets to resolve test issues.
