RS232 to Ethernet Device Setup (PUSR device)

I'm in need of assistance with setting up an RS232 to Ethernet device for transferring sensor data, specifically from a laser distance sensor.
We have a PUSR rs232 to Ethernet adapter.
The laser works fine with an rs232 to usb adapter, but we are looking to replace that and send the rs232 over Ethernet.
