Electronics Vending Machine Design

Job ID: 40281399

Budget: $25 – $50 CAD

I need a complete concept-to-production design for a vending machine that can sell phones, tablets, gaming consoles, laptops and related accessories while also accepting returns through built-in lockers. The scope covers mechanical layout, locker integration, electronics for inventory control and payment, plus industrial styling that fits a standard retail footprint.

Beyond the CAD and schematics, I require a fully costed bill of materials. This means identifying real-world suppliers, part numbers, lead times and unit pricing so we can estimate manufacturing cost at scale and set viability targets. Where multiple component choices exist, highlight the trade-offs (e.g., reliability versus unit price) rather than listing every option.

Please include a detailed project proposal that outlines:
• Your development approach from concept sketches through production-ready files
• Key engineering tools you will use (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium, or equivalents)
• A timeline that meets an ASAP delivery expectation, broken into milestones for design, sourcing, and cost analysis
• Any past experience with vending systems, kiosk hardware, or smart locker mechanisms that supports your plan

Acceptance criteria:
1. 3D CAD files and engineering drawings ready for fabrication
2. Electrical schematics and control architecture for vending and locker functions
3. Verified supplier list with pricing for every major component
4. Consolidated production cost estimate for a 10-unit pilot run
5. Summary report detailing assumptions, risks, and recommendations for next steps

I will review proposals immediately and move quickly to award once a clear, actionable plan is presented.
